Thoroughbred Makeover Clinic – Midway, KY

In 2018, Dan James mentored, provided private lessons for, and coached the winner of the RRP TB Makeover Dressage Division, 4 of the Top 5 Finalists in the Freestyle Division, the 9th place in the Ranch Riding Discipline, and many other competitors. Now, for the first time in 2019 he will host a clinic exclusively for Thoroughbred Makeovers. From starting Thoroughbreds for the track in three different countries (Australia, Japan, and the US) to helping problem racehorses and sale horses to retraining and rehoming several OTTB each year, Dan is extensively experience at helping Thoroughbreds of all ages and skill level excel at many different disciplines. This clinic is geared towards those competing in the upcoming Retired Racehorse Project Thoroughbred Makeover, those who have a project OTTB, and those interested in competing in a TB makeover in the future. Not only has Dan James successfully completed Mustang Makeovers and coached others to win Mustang and Thoroughbred Makeovers, he has been a WEG Reining Competitor, Eventing competitor, Dressage Trainer, Liberty Trainer & Performer, and Jumping competitor. No matter what discipline you are competing in, this clinic will provide exercises and advice to help you and your horse successfully, and safely achieve your goals.
